🐾 Day 3 in Yalata: Trust, Connection, and Care 🐾

On Day 3, we focused on another side of the community, working our way down one of the main streets to make sure every animal was treated. Each day, we've walked over 20,000 steps, back and forth, to ensure no pet is missed.

Over the last three days, we’ve had a mascot dog follow us all around the community—even back to our accommodation! Today, we had beautiful boy dog be a part of our "mascot club," keeping us company as we made our rounds.

What truly touched our hearts was having the local kids help us with the animals. They wanted their dogs treated so much that they guided us straight to them. In return, they shared some bush candy they picked, teaching us about traditional bush tucker. It's a memory that will stay with us forever.

As the days go on, we’re gaining more trust from the community, and that trust is making this mission even more successful. This work is about more than just veterinary care. As Bindee says 'Its my passion, my heart and soul, my happy place, my jam'. It’s what makes us proud to continue the journey of The Rural Vet Mob.
